China Association for Standardization(CAS) held an international forum titled “New Values, New Trends and Best Practices in Technical Communication” at Qiushuishan Hotel, a famous resort in Shenzhen on June 30^th, 2016. Huawei (global information and communications technology solutions provider), ZTE (Telecommunication Equipment Corporation), Megalink (technical communication tool provider) and HansemEUG (No.1 Language Service Provider in Korea) provided main support for this forum.

About 90 experts in the technical communication field from U.S.A., Germany, Korea, Japan, Singapore and China attended this forum. They came from Huawei, ZTE, HansemEUG, Hisense, Microsoft, Nikon, IKEA etc

This forum also attracted some academics from Peking University, Xi`an International Studies University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Southeast University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. The experts and academics sit in the same room to discuss the challenges and chances in the technical communication industry in China.

Jiyoung Ha, general manager; Patrick Liu, TC manager; Jingli Cui, project manager from Beijing office; Jun Park, IT director from Korean office, attended this forum as representatives from HansemEUG.

Patrick presented a topic titled “How to Keep UI Strings consistently and Match Multi-linguistic UI Automatically”. Some experts from practical and academic fields paid great interest to Patrick’s topic. Some raised questions and discussed with him during and after his presentation.

In this forum, HansemEUG introduced its professional language services and showed expertise in localization, technical writing, marketing communication and content management for audiences.

This forum has witnessed the rapid development of the technical communication in recent years.
